Jan Rothkegel – The Author

You may have asked yourself: Gambling, parking lots and other nerd stuff – who the hell runs this blog? Let me tell you that the author of this blog is a pretty nice guy. He studied ‘Computer and Automation Science’ and upgraded to an MBA in ‘Production Management’. Currently, he studies ‘Mathematics and Statistics’ at the Open University – just for fun. Most of the time he hangs out with his colleagues at Infineon Technologies where he works as an IT professional. A substantial amount of his time he also spends at the gym – back pain due to his IT work, you know… 😉

After work, he enjoys coming home to his son. Little Robin is one and a half year old now and makes his daddy proud day by day 🙂 The author raises his son together with his wife Anne. Both are married and live in a sweet little home. This is also reason why the author is doing a lot of research on growing grass – it is so hard to keep your garden in order…

And why is he running this blog? His knowledge reached the critical mass and now his brain produces uncontrolled output which has to be stored somewhere. Honestly, the author writes down his thoughts to not rethink ideas twice. And there is a little side effect: It makes him able to share his knowledge with you 😉
